s a native-born hillbilly raised in the motor city, I should have been a championship NASCAR driver. Instead, applying powers of persistence and concentration to a love for science, I became a diagnostic radiologist, first as a major in the Air Force, then in Tucson, AZ. As a radiologist, I detected visual clues that I could weave into an answer for a patient's diagnostic dilema. Now, I apply these visual skills to creating photographic representations of a moment in reality.

I have two other internet presences. I teach the card game Bridge and use my bridge website to describe my lessons and as the students' download source for my teaching materials — Quickstart Bridge. I created and do the interviews of local musicians for the blog — Tucson Harmony. Please visit them.
