Wildflowers of Southern Arizona
Ginseng (Araliaceae) family.
It is an ornamental herbaceous plant, about one to two meters tall, which grows in shady areas. It has greenish-white flowers from June to August. The berry-like fruit is dark purple. Its native range includes most of the eastern United States.
Santa Catalina Mountains.
Location: At end of asphalt road at edge of ditch.
