Texas Toadflax.
Nuttallanthus texanus.
Plantain (Plantaginaceae) family.

The flowers are on tall, slender flower spikes. The individual flowers have a 2-lobed upper lip, a 3-lobed lower lip, and a long, slender, rear-projecting, down-curved spur behind the flower. The leaves are green, linear, narrow, and mainly at the base of the plant.
