Borage (Boraginaceae) family.
The pale yellow nodding, bell-shaped flowers are 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) long and have 5 rounded lobes. The pendent flower corollas dry to a cream color on the plant and make papery, whispering sounds in the wind. The leaves are green, alternate, narrow, and pinnately lobed with saw-toothed edges. The stems and leaves are covered in glandular hairs.
