			The flower heads are 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide and have white or purple-tinged bracts and dark purple-brown anthers. The leaves are green, alternate, and dissected into narrow lobes with rolled under margins. The lower leaves are larger and more numerous. The stems are slender, green, and branched.
